The center of Kyoto is too urban. You will be surprised to find shrines and temple right in the middle of buildings. You may think that Kyoto is not what you have imagined. Then we would like to propose you to enjoy the in-between zone between the city and the countryside. In about 60 minutes from Kyoto, you will encounter quiet activities. We offer local cycling tours where you can find old stores or meet craftspeople, that can only be reached with a local guide. We also offer a 5-hour kayaking tour across Lake Biwa, the largest lake in Japan. These special tours, which even Japanese people have never tried before, will surely grab your heart.
